Dr. Andrew Patrick Opio, MD | Chairperson

Dr. Andrew Patrick OpioDr. Andrew is a General Surgeon with a Masters of Science Degree in General Surgery from Makerere University. He is a private practicing Doctor/Surgeon and Director at Ayira Health Services. He is an Evangelist and pro-medical missionery who has worked with Victims Foundation – Uganda providing treatment to LRA rebel victims / survivors. He also worked with War Child Holland and Concern Parents Association in Lira to offer Psycho-social therapy.


Ms. Marget Pauline | Vice Chairperson

Margret Pauline, vcpMs. Margret is an Educationalist and a Hotel Manager, she is a co-Director of Pauline Hotels, Lira – Uganda.




Patrick Okello | Finance & Logistics Advisor

Mr. Patrick Okello, AdvisorMr. Okello guides the organisation on Finance and Logistical issues, he brings to KoL’s board vast experience in field of Financial Management. He works as the Senior Finance Officer of the Lira District Local Government (Uganda). He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance.



Aguze George | Technical advisor on Organization Development

Mr. Aguze GeorgeMr. Aguze has over 14 years’ experience in the health sector program management, community health programming, HIV/AIDS implementation, health systems strengthening and organisational development. A 3 year experience of M&E in a USAID funded Maternal & Child survival, has elaborate experience in the decentralised health systems’ implementation and working with and supporting CSOs working in health and development. He Holds a Master of Public Health (MPH), Bachelor of Arts Social Sciences (BASS); Diploma in Clinical Medicine & Community Health, Diploma in Mental Health.

George is also the Executive Director of Extended Hands – Uganda

Rev. Benjamin Okwir | Advisor and Spiritual Elder

Rev. Benjamin OkwirRev. Okwir is a Social Science specialist and Retired Bishop





Pr. Peter Okodo | Organization’s Spiritual Leader and Board Member

Pr. Okodo PeterPr. Okodo is a professional Lab Technologist and the Director of a Jerusalem Institute of Health Sciences, Lira (Uganda) he guides the spiritual direction of the organisation.




Ms. Awor Beatrice Muwa | Senior Health Advisor

Ms. Awor Beatrice MuwaMs. Awor is a retired Senior Citizen who trained as a Nurse and served to a rank of Principal Nursing Officer, she has also worked with Plan Uganda, World Vision, USAID. She worked as Principal Tutor King James Nursing and Midwifery School, a tutor at Jerusalem Institute of Health Sciences and is currently the Board Chairperson of Lira Regional Referral Hospital.
